Michelle represented Germany with the song called Wer Liebe Lebt in Copenhagen 2001. The song went straight to the Grand Final as Germany is one of the biggest financial contributors of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Wer Liebe Lebt got the eighth place in the Grand Final.
