Sofia Mestari represented France with the song called On Aura Le Ciel in Stockholm 2000. The song went straight to the Grand Final as France is one of the biggest financial contributors of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). On Aura Le Ciel got the twenty-third place in the Grand Final.
