Eurovision Song Contest Israel 2019

After Netta won the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Portugal with the song called TOY, Eurovision Song Contest 2019 took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. This was the third time Israel hosted the competition. Total of 41 countries participated. The first Semi-Final was held on May 14th and the second Semi-Final was held on May 16th. The winner was selected at the Grand Final on May 18th. The winner of the competition was Duncan Laurence from The Netherlands with a song called Arcade. The song gained a total of 498 points. This was the fifth Eurovision Song Contest victory for The Netherlands.

The Belarusian jury was dismissed from the Grand Final as the jury revealed their ranking after the first Semi-Final and were given substitute aggregated jury results by the auditors in the Grand Final. However after Eurovision fans started to question how EBU ended up with such a bizarre jury result, EBU discovered that incorrect aggregated results were used due to a human error and corrected the results afterwards. The correction changed some rankings of the Grand Final but the top 4 countries remained unchanged. The corrected results are used in this site.
