After Corinne Hermès won the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 in Germany with the song called Si La Vie Est Cadeau , Eurovision Song Contest 1984 took place in Luxembourg, Luxembourg . This was the fourth time Luxembourg hosted the competition. Total of 19 countries participated. The winner of the competition was Herrey's from Sweden with the song called Diggi-loo Diggy-ley. The song gained total of 145 points. This was the second Eurovision Song Contest victory to Sweden.
