After Vicky Leandros won the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 in United Kingdom with the song called Après Toi , Eurovision Song Contest 1973 took place in Luxembourg, Luxembourg . This was the third time Luxembourg hosted the competition. Total of 17 countries participated. The winner of the competition was Anne-Marie David from Luxembourg with the song called Tu Te Reconnaîtras. The song gained total of 129 points. This was the fourth Eurovision Song Contest victory to Luxembourg.
