After Teddy Scholten won the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 in France with the song called Een Beetje , Eurovision Song Contest 1960 took place in London, United Kingdom . This was the first time United Kingdom hosted the competition. Total of 13 countries participated. The winner of the competition was Jacqueline Boyer from France with the song called Tom Pillibi. The song gained total of 32 points. This was the second Eurovision Song Contest victory to France.
